Zwift signs as official partner of 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships

Online fitness platform for cyclists Zwift has been appointed as Official Virtual Fitness Platform of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, taking place in Glasgow and across Scotland from 3-13 August 2023.  A principal aim of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championship is to promote cycling as a means of transport, leisure, and a way to improve both mental and physical health and wellbeing.

The partnership with Zwift as the Official Virtual Fitness Platform will widen the Championships’ reach and engagement with Zwift’s global audience by driving mass participation and increased activity on the virtual platform.

The 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships will take place across 11 days from 3-13 August 2023 in venues and locations in Glasgow and across Scotland. More than a million spectators are anticipated as well as a global television audience of over one billion, making it one of the world’s top 10 watched sporting events next summer.

The event is being delivered in collaboration between the UCI, Scottish Government, Glasgow City Council, UK Sport and British Cycling as principal funders.
