William Hill Expands Sponsorship Portfolio With Northern Racing

 Bookmaker William Hill has signed a three-year deal with Northern Racing to sponsor the inaugural Welsh Champion Hurdle race at Ffos Las in west Wales.  The race will be renamed the williamhill.com Welsh Champion Hurdle.

The six-figure agreement runs until 2013 and positions the two-mile race as a major target for top hurdling racehorses in Britain and Ireland.
 
The new williamhill.com Welsh Champion Hurdle, with £45,000 in prize-money, will take place on Saturday 5 February 2011.
 
Northern Racing’s Head of Group Sales Jo Miller said: “With this new deal we are creating great media exposure for William Hill through Channel 4 and satellite TV stations, other press channels and event marketing, along with a host of other benefits such as opportunities to reward clients with tickets, promotional space on the racecourse and competitions.”
