Vote For The Best Ever Rugby Union Sponsorship!

And don’t miss out on the chance to be named Best Rugby World Cup 2015 Sponsor at The 2016 UK Sponsorship Awards

As the deadline for entering the 2016 UK Sponsorship Awards approaches, now is the time to nominate the best ever rugby union sponsorship. The process is simple. Just send a 50-100 word statement supporting your nomination to info@sponsorship-awards.co.uk. You don’t have to have worked on the sponsorship. All you need to do is provide a few good reasons why you think the rugby sponsorship you have chosen stands out from the competition.

Nominations will be posted on a dedicated page on the UK Sponsorship Awards website so that other people can get some idea of which sponsorships are in the running. After the 2016 Awards entry closing date (January 15, 2016), the nominated campaigns will be assessed by the UK Sponsorship Awards’ panel of expert judges. A shortlist will then be chosen and this will then be presented to the public to vote on. The campaign with the most votes will be unveiled at the 2016 Awards Gala Dinner on March 22, 2016 at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.

At the same time, don’t forget that rights holders, agencies and brands can also enter the category for Best Rugby World Cup 2015 sponsor. This is a one-off award designed to celebrate the superb job done on Rugby World Cup 2015 by all of its stakeholders. “The Rugby World Cup was a spectacular sporting and cultural occasion,” says UKSA organiser Rosemary Sarginson, “It was also a great commercial success story for both the sport and UK plc. So the idea behind this one-off category is to reward those companies that have provided the rest of the sponsorship industry with a wonderful example of how sport, business and the wider community can come together in a way that is mutually beneficial.”

Details on how to enter can be found on the UK Sponsorship Awards website (www.sponsorship-awards.co.uk/enter-the-awards). There is an early bird deadline on December 14, with the final deadline on January 15.
