Matt Cutler has been appointed to the new position of Head of Communications at Two Circles, the data-driven sports agency. Cutler will have responsibility for building on the strength of Two Circles' reputation in the UK as it expands operations across North America and Europe.
Cutler first made his name as Editor of SportBusiness International between 2010 and 2015 and then as host of SB Weekly, the sport business podcast he founded in February 2016.
For the past two years he has also worked as a marketing and communications adviser to a variety of organisations operating in the sports sector, including national and international governing bodies, global sports agencies and media start-ups.
Commenting on the appointment, Two Circles CEO Gareth Balch said: “Our Day Two strategy will see us continue to expand our presence across all three regions where we operate – the UK, Europe and North America – and we have a really exciting story to share about how data-driven marketing is changing the sport industry. We can’t wait to get it out there.”
The 100 strong business now has offices in London, Chicago, New York and Bern.
