Think!Sponsorship Poll Indicates Industry On Upward Curve

The Think!Sponsorship poll and sponsorship annual review, just released, indicates a renewed buoyancy from the financial services sector with sponsorship investment levels returning to pre-recession levels. A diversity of platforms, the advent of technology and a prolonged challenging economic environment were all cited as key factors influencing the industry.

The industry stated that the 2011 Bribery Act has impacted on the use of hospitality rights within sponsorship agreements and that there is perceived increase in pressure to ban alcohol sponsorship however the industry believes alcohol sponsors behave responsibly when activating sponsorships.
