Surrey County Cricket Club Announces Sales Records And Long-Term Two Circles Partnership

Surrey County Cricket Club, which has announced record sales for the 2015 season – with gate receipts increasing by 26% overall, has renewed its relationship with Two Circles, the data-driven sports agency. The agreement will now see Two Circles work with the Club towards the ICC Champions Trophy of 2017 as well as the ICC Cricket World Cup and Ashes summer of 2019.

This record performance included a sell-out Ashes, an increase in membership of 17% and a 25% increase in T20 Blast sales on the previous year as Friday night cricket returned to the Kia Oval for a third consecutive year.

Two Circles will expand its role with the Club whilst continuing to provide customer insight. The agreement will allow the Club to continue to improve customer experience and diversify its audience, whilst growing the tribalism and belonging of Surrey fans and members.

Richard Gould, Chief Executive at Surrey County Cricket Club, said, “We are delighted by this year’s results and pleased to cement our long term Two Circles relationship. Their expertise has helped us accomplish the growth that we set out to achieve, and their actionable customer insight has allowed us to create a tailored communication strategy, which has driven commercial success.”

Gareth Balch, Managing Director at Two Circles, added: “We are proud to be extending our partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club, and we are looking forward to supporting the Club achieve their ambitious plans for the future.”

Two Circles, part of ESP Properties, a WPP company, works with rights holders to help them gain a richer picture of their customers.
