Sports and sponsorship specialist arm of YouGov, SMG Insight has appointed Michael Pask, former Senior Vice President at WME IMG, to the company’s advisory board.
An expert in the sports, entertainment and media industry, Michael will provide strategic advice and insight to the business. Frank Saez, Managing Director and Founder of SMG Insight, commented: “I have known Michael for many years and am very excited about his new role, providing expert advice and insight as we continue our expansion in the sports and sponsorship sector. Michael has over 25 years’ experience as Senior Vice President at WME IMG, covering event planning, organisation and implementation, as well as spearheading sales, digital strategy and the company’s creative offering. Prior to this, he undertook several roles within the golf sector, including the creation of the Golf Advisory Business, supporting two successful Ryder Cup bids and helping to grow EGD into the most prosperous golf design business in the industry. His wealth of experience extends to successfully managing the careers of a number of Olympic athletes, as well as charitable roles on the Sport Relief Steering Committee and the Make-a-Wish Corporate Alliance Committee.
