Royal Bank of Canada V Series Gets Into Gear

The Royal Bank of Canada V Series returns to Canary Wharf, London on September 15. This annual team cycling race, now in its second year, brings together 20 corporate teams of dedicated amateurs, whose riders are swapping business suits for lycra.  The event pitches teams against each other and the clock on a 1km closed-road circuit. 

The event is an Italian pursuit for eight riders over four kilometres.  The lead rider peels off every 500m, leaving the final four riders to race the final 2km. Two teams will compete head-to-head, with the fastest four teams qualifying through to the finals.
