Roland Garros generating a Buzz in absence of Spanish bull

The ultimate master of the French clay – Rafael Nadal, who has 14 French Open titles to his name – might not be featuring in Paris this year, but the tournament has whipped up a Buzz anyway according to YouGov. Looking at average Buzz scores from a week before the start of the event to five days into it, the Roland Garros had generated a higher Buzz this season compared to an identical period of last year’s edition. With the exception of the UK where Buzz is lower this year, the French Open has generated a higher Buzz in all the other Grand Slam markets – US, France and Australia.
