RFL Sponsor Dacia Extends Sponsorship to Wheelchair Rugby League

Dacia has extended its partnership with Rugby Football League to become principal supporting partner of England Wheelchair Rugby League. The new agreement sees the car brand appearing on the team shirts for the 2017 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup which is currently underway in France.

Commenting on the new partnership, Ed Preston, Dacia communications manager, said: “In only our second year of supporting Rugby League, we’re very proud to be involved with all levels and formats of the game. There’s a great community and open-to­-all spirit in the game which we really identify with and the wheelchair version of the game really embodies this. It’s accessible to all, with mixed gender teams representing their country at the highest level.” 

As well as its support of the England Wheelchair Rugby League team, Dacia is also the official car partner of the RFL, which includes title sponsorship of the Dacia World Club Series and Dacia Magic Weekend. Through its partnership this season, Dacia has been supporting all levels of the game, by providing grassroots clubs with training sessions with professional coaches and players from the Betfred Super League as part of the Dacia #FlairPlay Awards.
