Commenting on the partnership with Probiz, Paul Kimberley, RFL Commercial Director, said: “Over the past few months, we have been working with Probiz founder Feisal Nahaboo in developing the sport through his connections in the Middle East. He has a strong affiliation with rugby league and we are confident, through his connections, that we can develop other partnerships that will strengthen our commercial portfolio going forward.”
Probiz founder, Feisal Nahaboo, added: “This will be a significant opportunity for Probiz to be part of one of the most entertaining sports on the planet. Rugby League will be key to developing our brand identity across UK and Ggobal markets.”
“We plan to make further investments in rugby league and must thank our Principal Rugby League Partners Halifax RLFC and Castleford Tigers for their tremendous support over the last few months. Both teams recommended our involvement in sponsoring the World Club Challenge, which is great testimony that clubs are in total support of the RFL and the sport as a whole.”
The Probiz World Club Challenge will be shown live on Sky Sports and will also be broadcast around the world with viewers being able to watch the match live on Australia’s Channel Nine and across the Middle East region on Showtime.
