brandRapport, sports sponsorship and marketing agency has been appointed by Polar, market leader in athlete heart rate monitoring, to handle its global brand development programme as well as being responsible for its digital strategy and execution.
The work includes development of the Polar brand globally, the segmentation of the fitness market and the creation and development of all global marketing material. brandRapport will work in conjunction with 383 Project, its digital agency partner, to develop Polar’s digital offering and will include website design, development of its social media strategy and expansion of its webshop programme.
Polar pioneered the development of heart rate monitoring equipment and over the last 30 years has led the market in the development of training computers designed to help all levels of exerciser, sportsman and woman to monitor their fitness levels and optimise their training programmes. The company employs 1200 people and has 18 subsidiaries in different territories and manages a distribution network supplying over 35,000 retail outlets in more than 80 countries.
