Orreco aims for gold as over 100 of its partner athletes get set for Tokyo

Sports performance and biomarker company Orreco has helped more than 100 elite athletes prepare for this summer in Tokyo, including athletes from Ireland, US, GB and Australia, across more than 10 different diverse sports.

The company has in recent years developed a range of products powered by biomarkers and Artificial Intelligence (AI), which help athletes maximise training and reduce the threat of injury.This includes the Orreco Female Athlete programme, including its FitrWoman app and FitrCoach platform, which challenges how elite female athletes are monitored, protected and supported.

Among the roster of Orreco athletes and members of teams working with Orreco heading to Tokyo are: Ireland’s 1500 metre hopeful Sarah Healy, four time gold medallist WNBA Champion Sue Bird of the US, eight time medallist US swimmer Allison Schmitt, US skateboarder Mariah Duran, GB marathon runner Chris Thompson, GB slalom canoeists Kim Woods and Mallory Franklin, Alix Klineman, US beach volleyball star, US cross-country mountain biker Haley Batten, GB distance runner Jess Piasecki and 2016 medallist Nijel Amos of Botswana/Oregon Track Club Elite.
