Optimum Nutrition Sponsors Newcastle Falcons

Following on from its recent signing as Official Sports Nutrition Partner to the Premiership rugby team Newcastle Falcons, Optimum Nutrition has signed British and Irish Lion Rob Kearney as a Brand Ambassador.

Commenting on the partnership with Newcastle Falcons, Seb Mullin, Managing Director EMEA at Optimum Nutrition, said “We are delighted to extend our presence in rugby by partnering with one of the UK’s most recognisable club brands.”  Optimum Nutrition will work with the Strength and Conditioning coaches and nutrition team at the club to create tailored nutrition programmes based on players’ individual needs. As part of the sponsorship, ON will have branding on the players’ shorts and at Kingston Park.

ON’s current sponsorship portfolio includes Leinster, Ulster, the Cornish Pirates and Cambridge and Oxford University RFCs. Another major deal with a national side is due to be announced soon. Team ON, ON’s group of fitness ambassadors, includes athletes, rugby players, adventurers, personal trainers and fitness models.
