Octagon Kicks Off 2018 With Three FIFA World Cup Partner Wins

Global sports and entertainment marketing agency Octagon has begun the year with three new business wins with FIFA World Cup™ official partners Gazprom, Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot, and Kia Motors.

All three brands will be working with Octagon to create experience-led campaigns for their FIFA World Cup™ programmes in Russia with particular focus on the management and production of fan and guest engagements in the official commercial display fan-zones and hospitality areas.

Octagon is now working with five out of the twelve official FIFA World Cup™ partners, having a long-standing relationship with ABInBev Budweiser and existing work for Alfa Bank to go along with the new client wins.

“We have a fantastic heritage of working with FIFA and major event partners, and we’re incredibly proud and excited to be continuing this with the FIFA World Cup™ in Russia,” said Jeff Ehrenkranz, President of Octagon Marketing International. “To begin 2018 with three significant new clients is a fantastic endorsement of the people and quality of work coming out of the agency. We are looking forward to bringing the creative ideas to life – to earn attention for our clients, in and around the tournament this summer.”

Octagon has more than 30 years of experience at the highest levels of global football including FIFA World Cup™, Premier League, UEFA, the FA, MLS and other properties. During the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Octagon worked on behalf of six official partner clients including Budweiser, J&J, Oi and Itau while hosting more than 28,000 hospitality guests, and leading 1,600 activation hours across 500 individual events.
