Octagon Appointed AOR For Shell’s Global Motorsports Hospitality Business

Sports and entertainment marketing specialists Octagon has been appointed as Shell’s global motorsport hospitality agency of record.

“This is a momentous win for Octagon,” said Jeff Ehrenkranz, Octagon President, Marketing International. “We are thrilled to help Shell create world-class work across one of the most extensive motorsports portfolios of any brand.”

Octagon will be responsible for campaign development across Shell’s motorsport hospitality globally – including Shell’s flagship, 70-year ‘Innovation Partnership’ with Ferrari, which includes F1, GT Racing and tailor-made events for Shell at Maranello, Ferrari’s iconic Italian HQ.  In addition, Octagon will help Shell maximise the value of technical partnerships with Hyundai-Shell-Mobis World Rally Team, BMW Motorsport in DTM, Ducati Corse in MotoGP and WEC events.

Octagon’s team for Shell will be a u combination of the agency’s existing creative and strategic specialists, and a team of newly recruited,  motorsport experts - working predominantly out of Octagon’s London offices.
