Octagon Announces Strategic Management Changes For Europe, Middle East and India

Global sports and entertainment marketing company Octagon has put in place strategic changes to the Company’s senior management team. Twenty-year company veteran Jeff Ehrenkranz has been appointed Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and India overseeing operations and new business across the region.  Jeff takes over from Glenn Lovett who is leaving to engage in a new career opportunity.

Jeff moved to London from Octagon’s US Headquarters where he served as Executive Vice President and ran the company’s Marketing Solutions and Entertainment divisions. In that role, he led the divisions’ businesses and supported clients across a variety of product categories, gaining the reputation as one of the industry’s top strategists.  Jeff also brings with him global sponsorship experience, having spent a number of years working for Octagon in Asia, Australia & Europe. 

Octagon UK has named Tim Collins and Garry Dods as co-MD of Octagon UK. Tim will step up from his role as Vice President while Garry re-joins Octagon UK after a two and a half year assignment as General Manager, Octagon Australia. 

The change to management is part of Octagon’s on going investment in the region which includes growing existing business in Russia and Turkey and increasing the company’s presence in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.   Jeff, Garry and Tim will join Phil Carling (MD Global Football), Alex Hermesdorf (Germany), Joan Cusco (Spain), Clay Smith (France), Prashant Singh (India) and Andy Oldknow (Middle East) to form a new Regional Management team focused on growing the company’s business.
