Metro Bank extends partnership with England & Wales Cricket Board

Following the recent announcement that Metro Bank will become the first ever Champion of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket, the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that Metro Bank will also become Official Title Partner for One Day Cricket.

This opportunity will see the Bank become title partner of the Metro Bank One Day Internationals, for both women and men, starting in September 2023. The Bank will also be the title partner for the Women’s and Men’s domestic One Day competitions – The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy presented by Metro Bank, and the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

England Women captain Heather Knight said: “Metro Bank has already shown its commitment to growing the game as our first Champion of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket, and it’s great to see them deepening the partnership. With their support we want to inspire more fans to watch and more kids to pick up a bat and ball and get involved in the game themselves.”
