Major Cycling Brands Support Race The World

Cycling brands dhb, Haglöfs, Schwalbe, Wiggle and Wilier Triestina are partnering the inaugural Race the World cycling race which is underway in the US. 

Race the World is proving to be an innovative proposition right in the middle of branded content and sports events. With the continued support of its partners, this unique race is reaching and engaging audiences beyond the teams taking part.

The race started on November 1 2015 with two teams racing against each other through the deserts, climbs and steep descents of the US  to claim the first ever Race the World team title in Miami on November 14th.  Race the World has been specifically designed for amateur cyclists, the youngest participant is 24, the eldest 67.

The event, which has been several years in the planning,  was developed and launched by sport engagement agency, Limelight Sports.  Marketing Director, Bastien Hibon commented: “We are delighted to have some of the top brands in cycling as partners for Race the World. Their commitment and support has been essential in enabling this hugely exciting and ambitious project to become reality. Furthermore to see them fully involved utilising Race the World content on their channels on a daily basis is incredible”.

The Race the World riders have full technical and coaching support teams with them throughout the race including team mechanic, team manager and team captains.
