Lucy Mart Joins PrettyGreen

Lucy Mart has joined PrettyGreen (www.itsprettygreen.com) from Edelman where she led the agency’s  London sport team across accounts including PUMA, Sportingbet, COMPEED and LOCOG. She previously developed sponsorship programmes for London 2012 sponsors such as Lloyds TSB and UPS as well as communications campaigns for Manchester City FC,

The appointment sees PrettyGreen make a further commitment to developing its sports sponsorship and marketing expertise and builds the agency’s senior London 2012 counsel.

Founder and MD Mark Stringer believes the new Head of Sport will add value to both existing and new clients in the Olympic year: “London 2012 has added another dynamic into the mix. Brands that aren’t sports brands and don’t have a platform in sport want to know that the agency is equipped for London 2012 and understands sport. With the appointment of Lucy we have a strong sports team that understands the nuances of sport, governing bodies, leveraging sponsorships and traditional sports media but can also service traditional clients.”

Lucy Mart added: “PrettyGreen has a great reputation in the industry for delivering creative and results driven campaigns. Strings and the sport team have established an impressive portfolio of clients and a strong platform for growth. I’m excited to be part of this ambitious agency as we move into an Olympic year and am looking forward to developing the opportunities ahead.”

Mart was previously at Four Communications where she delivered award-winning campaigns for Greene King IPA and Accenture. She also spent three years managing T-Mobile’s FIFA World Cup and Premier League football sponsorship PR programmes.
