Limelight Sports Partners With BIKE Channel To Broadcast Race The World

Cycling’s inaugural Race the World, created and managed by Limelight Sports, has partnered with BIKE Channel which will this month broadcast a 26 minute documentary of the event which took place in 2015.

The documentary follows the racers' inaugural journey across the American leg of the first fully supported team cycling race, both on and off the road. The programme gives insight into the highs and lows of the tightly fought race, highlighting the locations encountered by the teams  and bringing the viewer to the heart of the friendships formed within the two teams battling the 13 stages from Los Angeles to Miami.

Craig Dews, CEO Limelight Sports, commented: "With the channel's focus on sport and adventure, we feel Bike Channel is an ideal fit with Race the World, which puts today's amateur cycling pioneers centre stage of a once in a lifetime challenge and demonstrates our belief in the positive benefits of amazing active experiences.”
