Land Rover Expands Equestrian Support With New Event Rider Masters Partnership

Land Rover will be Official Vehicle Partner of the Event Rider Masters (ERM), which heads to France for the first time this weekend (15/16 July) for the fourth leg of the 2017 series at Haras de Jardy, near Paris. The all-terrain vehicle manufacturer will transport vets, doctors, officials and stewards around ERM events, as horses and riders battle for the Masters title.

Mark Cameron, Jaguar Land Rover Experiential Marketing Director, said: “Land Rover has long been synonymous with equestrian sport – in particular Eventing – so this is a natural progression for us to join forces with the Event Rider Masters.

“The ERM series is an exciting and innovative competition, but at the same time it hasn’t lost any of the heritage and traditional values of the sport. At Land Rover, we completely relate to this concept – we share a love for innovation balanced with tradition and are excited to come on board at such an early stage.”

Jon Wyatt, Commercial Director of Event Rider Masters said: “As we expand the ERM series internationally, it is fantastic to welcome Land Rover into our family of hugely supportive partners. Their history and understanding of the sport of eventing, together with their drive for excellence and continually pushing the boundaries of engineering and technology, is a perfect fit for ERM. Our plans to grow into the US and Asia mirror their business, and with competitors and therefore TV audiences tuning in from around the world, this is a partnership that we are very excited about.”

Land Rover supports several equestrian events, including the Festival of British Eventing, (4–6 August) and the pinnacle of the eventing season, the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, on 31 August – 3 September.
