Khan Consulting Appointed By Willow Foundation

Khan Consulting has been appointed by the Willow Foundation to source sponsors and partners for the Bob Wilson Soccer Cycle 2011.

Former Arsenal and Scotland goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson OBE, will be taking on the greatest challenge of his life in order to raise funds for Willow and raise awareness of the issues facing young adults with life-threatening conditions.

Bob will cycle more than 600 miles via every Premiership Club in England and three grounds in his homeland of Scotland from April 18th until 30th April.

The Willow Foundation is a national charity, founded by Bob and his wife in memory of their daughter Anna, that offers quality of life and quality of time to seriously ill 16-40 year olds by providing morale boosting special day experiences.

Bob’s Cycle Ride will be supported by Arsenal Football Club, Sky Sports and major stakeholders within the game.

Commenting on the project Bob Wilson said, “600 miles is a really long way and I know it won’t be easy. But with training well underway I feel fitter than ever and I am determined to cycle every mile. Aching joints and stiff muscles are nothing compared to what many seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds around the UK are going through and the more funds I can raise, the more of those young people can benefit from a Willow special day.”

Khan Consulting have been appointed to help the charity to raise in excess of £250,000 through donations by the public and a partnership programme offering nationwide media coverage.
