Investec Celebrates Its Sponsorship Decade

The England Rugby team returns to action in the 2010 Investec Internationals at Twickenham in four fixtures beginning with New Zealand on November 6th. This is the tenth year that the Internationals have been sponsored by Investec who remain committed to the sport.
Raymond van Niekerk, Investec’s head of global marketing said: “It has been a great honour for Investec to be involved with England Rugby over the last ten years. Rugby is close to Investec’s heart; a sport where ambition, pride, teamwork and respect combine in a mental as well as physical context. The Investec Internationals are always very challenging and like the fans we are looking forward to some highly competitive rugby come November.”
England will head to the Investec Internationals on the back of a successful tour of Australia this summer where they finished with a test win in Sydney. However, they will need to be at their very best if they are to prevail over all four southern hemisphere teams New Zealand, Australia, Samoa and South Africa. 
England’s manager, Martin Johnson, commented: “On behalf of the Senior England EPS I’d like to thank Investec for its support of English Rugby over the last ten years. Its investment helps England have the right facilities and environment to develop as a team. The Investec Internationals will be an important step towards the Rugby World Cup in 2011.”
