Hertz Renews Title Sponsorship Of British Grand Prix MotoGP At Silverstone

The Hertz Corporation and Dorna Sports have announced that Hertz, the world-leading general use car rental brand, is once again the title sponsor of the 2013 British MotoGP™. The British edition of the premier motorcycle racing world championship will be held at Silverstone from August 30th to September 1st.

Michel Taride, Group President, Hertz International, said: "Our ongoing partnership with Dorna Sports and MotoGP provides us an excellent opportunity to associate our fastest, easiest and most valued car rental brand values with the adrenalin fuelled action and excitement of the world-renowned racing event."

As title sponsor of the British MotoGP, Hertz will benefit from media exposure through a range of branding opportunities at the circuit, including at the trackside, bridge, starting point, winners' podium backdrops, and clothing of the Paddock Girls, as well as the added visibility in one turn in the new-to-MotoGP™ circuit in Austin, Texas, USA.

The move follows the successful collaboration between MotoGP™ rights holder Dorna Sports and Hertz, which has been the car and equipment rental supplier for the premier motorcycle racing World Championship since 2010, and first took on title sponsorship of the event in 2012. The 2013 deal includes an option for an extension to a further year in 2014.
