Consumer sport, fashion and lifestyle communications agency GUNG HO has expanded its sport offering by adding New Balance Football to its roster of clients, as well as announcing new senior hires to help grow its presence within the sports sector.
The agency, which has looked after PR and influencer activity for New Balance in the lifestyle sector for over ten years, will assist in managing the brand’s football press office, with spikes of key athlete and club activity across UK and Europe.
In addition, GUNG HO has hired Paula Kowalska as Account Director to lead on New Balance Football as well as existing sports clients including Canterbury and Speedo, with Hamish Murdoch hired to support as Senior Account Manager.
This expansion of its sports offering follows the recent acquisition in spring 2022 of influencer marketing platform, Freestak, specialists in endurance sport, including running, cycling and outdoor.
