SPONSORSPARTNERS
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has appointed The Value Xchange as its sponsorship sales agency. The FAW's success over the last six years has included its senior men’s team’s reaching the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2016 and the knock-out stages of UEFA EURO 2020 plus the growth in the women’s and girl’s game.
The ‘Our Wales’ strategic plan for 2021-2026 aims to ensure that football continues to grow rapidly, regarding inclusivity, accessibility, and success on and off the field. The FAW is focussing on reaching 120,000 registered footballers, doubling the size of the women’s and girl’s game, and ensuring that grassroots facilities are developed in line with these targets.
Ian Davis, Chief Commercial & Engagement Officer, said: "We are blessed with a strong partner programme and are looking to build on this, based on recent successes plus strategic plans to ensure rapid growth, including doubling the women’s & girl’s game. The team at The Value Xchange share this excitement and vision – and we are looking forward to working with them to identify new, mutually beneficial partnerships.
”Kevin Hall, Director of Partnerships at The Value Xchange added: “It is an incredibly exciting period for the FAW, with the men’s team about to appear in the FIFA World Cup 2022. We are looking forward to building on this momentum and passion, plus as the game continues to flourish in Wales - not least to capitalise on and support the continued growth of the women’s and girl’s game.”
