SPONSORSPARTNERS
Hampshire Cricket has agreed a new multi-level partnership with fashion designer FatFace and the FatFace Foundation. The clothing and accessories brand becomes the sponsor of Hampshire’s NatWest T20 Blast fixture at the Ageas Bowl on Sunday 23rd July, which will become the ‘FatFace Foundation Family Festival’.
The sponsorship deal follows an initial partnership between Hampshire Cricket’s official charity and the FatFace Foundation launched in January, which focused on ‘Project Fresh Face’, an innovative project designed to inspire the next generation of students to get involved in business.
As part of the initiative’s final proceedings, students were given the opportunity to hear the basic principles of business first-hand before then spending six weeks designing a FatFace product.
The Ageas Bowl’s Commercial Officer, Jonathan Crocker said: “We’re thrilled to have FatFace and the FatFace Foundation on board ahead of this year’s NatWest T20 Blast competition, following on from the excellent partnership we shared throughout the successful Project Fresh Face initiative.”
FatFace Head of HR, Adrienne Heeley said: “It’s been a privilege to work with young students, whose commitment to the project was exceptional. The results of their work out-performed our expectations, hence why we were so keen to see all the runners-up as well as the winners have the opportunity to have their designs printed and featuring in our local FatFace stores.
We’re delighted to have forged a partnership with the Ageas Bowl and are looking forward to the FatFace Family Festival there – a prime opportunity to share the success of Project Freshface and and spread word about the Foundation’s broad-ranging work in the community.”
