Enterprise Rent-A-Car Launches 'Backseat Pundit' UEFA Europa League Activation

European football legends Robert Pires, Marcel Desailly, and Christian Ziege have joined forces with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, partner of the UEFA Europa League, to offer four fans a unique road trip during the knockout stages of the competition.

Launching in January, Enterprise’s ‘Backseat Pundit’ competition will give four winners, each with a friend, the opportunity to travel with Pires, Desailly or Ziege as their ‘backseat’ companion to the game to provide some world-class punditry and a real insight into the match ahead.

Winners will also receive a VIP Match Day Experience for them and a friend. Together with their European football legend as their ‘Backseat Pundit’, they will be chauffeur-driven to the selected match and have plenty of time to chat with and get to know their iconic travelling companion. Once they are at the stadium, the winners will be treated to a pitch side tour, VIP hospitality and a seat at the post-match press conference.

Thanks to Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s ‘Backseat Pundit’ competition, fans now have the chance to enjoy insight from one of three football legends and hear first-hand what it is like to compete against Europe’s football elite.

Football legend Robert Pires said: “We all know someone who thinks they are a bit of a football expert and whose views and opinions we have to put up with on the way to the game. The competition launches on 15 January, 2018. To enter fans need to submit a short video of themselves analysing the hottest topics in the UEFA Europa League to demonstrate that they have the punditry skills to match the professionals they hope to travel with. The best entries will be rewarded with a trip to selected fixtures from the Round of 32 through to The Final in Lyon alongside Robert Pires, Marcel Desailly or Christian Ziege.
