DHL Goes Extra Mile For Harlequins

DHL, Aviva Premiership rugby champions Harlequins’ official logistics partner, will transport almost a ton of kit and equipment for 35 players and support staff from their training ground at the Surrey Sports Park, Guildford to the Parc des Sports Aguiléra, Biarritz in the south of France ahead of their final European pool match this evening.

The equipment will be transported in a specially commissioned Harlequins branded van that includes images of three of the club’s international players: Danny Care, Jordan Turner-Hall and Harlequins and England Captain Chris Robshaw. The van will then join the DHL delivery fleet in the Richmond and Twickenham area.

Phil Couchman, CEO of DHL Express UK and Ireland said, “Harlequins have been an outstanding club side in England and we are very proud to be assisting their match day preparations"

Speaking about the partnership, Harlequins Director of Rugby, Conor O’Shea said: “As a group we put a lot of focus on marginal gains and the small improvements we can make to give us the extra edge on and off the pitch. Competition is at its fiercest in the Heineken Cup and anything extra that we can do to help our preparations and enable us to be ready for the challenges of our opponents is crucial"
