Comedy Central Joins Forces with highlight for Christmas Shows

Broadcaster Comedy Central will be joining forces with live entertainment venues, highlight, to present evenings of live comedy throughout the Christmas season.

The 169 shows, called ‘Comedy Central Live at highlight’, launch on Friday November 26th and will run for five weeks at all 10 highlight venues across the UK. To round off the Comedy Central Live run, the final shows will be New Year’s Eve specials.

The partnership between the UK’s comedy network and the country’s largest chain of comedy clubs comes after two successful pilot shows (Comedy Central Live @ highlight) earlier this year.

Each ‘Comedy Central Live at highlight’ event showcases three of the best stand up comics in the UK introduced by a compere. The comedians chosen to perform at the shows will be a combination of Comedy Central’s and highlight’s favourite acts on the circuit today.
