ClubApp, the new non-league instant live scoring football app, has appointed London-based sports PR and sponsorship activation agency Henman Communications, to manage its PR and sponsorship activation in the UK.
ClubApp is a live scoring web-based application designed to serve the needs of amateur sports teams, clubs and organisations. ClubApp provides a platform for instant live scoring, game developments and information direct to smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC.
By targeting the lower leagues of sport, ClubApp has enabled fans to keep up-to-date with their favourite teams who traditionally receive little to no exposure on match-days through the media.
The PR brief includes press office engagement with key football bloggers leveraging ClubApp’s recent official partnership of the Football Blogging Awards in Manchester on Thursday 19th November. Henman Communications will also be working alongside MasterCard, ClubApp’s strategic partner and engaging with non-league clubs, former international players and other influencers by creating unique content to share across social and digital channels.
ClubApp is championing the grassroots game aiming to improve its structures, administration, participation and funding by empowering clubs to raise their profile and grow audience. The platform allows instant communication from the club to fans creating a network for users to track performance, follow friends and interact with clubs.
