Citroen Collaborates With Badminton England

A new collaboration between Citroën UK, Chinese joint venture company Dongfeng Citroën and BADMINTON England will see the Citroën automotive brand become ‘Official Car Partner’ for the next two major badminton championships to be staged in England.
For Citroën UK it is their first foray into badminton where they will be providing a fleet of vehicles, including the new Citroën DS4, to support the Yonex BWF World Badminton Championships.
Marc Raven, Communications Director, Citroën UK, commenting on the new arrangement, said: “This partnership is a first for Citroën UK. Engaging with our Chinese counterparts is a great opportunity to utilise their experience within the sport of badminton and to take part in the UK’s sporting journey to 2012”.
Dongfeng Citroën is a long –time badminton supporter throughout Asia. A spokesperson for Dongfeng Citroën added “Dongfeng Citroën already has a strong reputation within the worldwide badminton community and this partnership moves our interest in the sport further into new territories”.
