Cancer Research UK has appointed specialist sponsorship agency Generate to help source new corporate sponsors for its Race for Life fundraising event series, sponsored until recently by Tesco.
The charity has been working with Generate on a new partnership structure that aims to deliver a broad range of benefits to partners, capitalising upon the strength of the brand that Race for Life has developed since its inception. This includes the 650,000+ annual participants, millions of supporters and the integrated marketing and promotional campaign that supports the event series each year.
The new corporate sponsorship opportunities signify a new chapter for Race for Life – the UK’s largest women only fundraising event series - as it seeks like-minded brands to help achieve its future ambitions and looks for its first new lead partner opportunity in ten years.
