CAMPER Appoints brandRapport And Fulford PR For Asia-Pacific Push

brandRapport and sister agency, Fulford PR, have been appointed by Spanish footwear brand CAMPER to manage the media relations campaign in support of their title sponsorship of the CAMPER with Emirates Team New Zealand boat entry in the 2011/12 Volvo Ocean Race, Sanya stop-over.

 

Tasked with driving broadcast, print and online exposure for the brand across sport and lifestyle media, the campaign will be coordinated by brandRapport in Hong Kong and Fulford PR in Singapore and will focus on a 24-Hour brand immersion for media partners from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.

 

The CAMPER brand immersion includes the use of the Camper Pavilion for media briefings, meals and crew interviews, sailing sessions aboard CAMPER with Emirates Team New Zealand and facilitating any other media requirements.

 

The Spanish shoe company has a global footprint and is using the Volvo Ocean Race to emphasise the design and lifestyle aspects inherent within the brand. The Volvo Ocean Race is one of the most demanding and challenging ocean races in existence. Teams compete on a nine-leg race around the world, covering over 39,000 miles of the world's most grueling oceans and conditions. The southernmost city in China, Sanya, is situated on Hainan Island and is its only Asian stop-over.
