British Champions Series Offers Full Naming Rights

Horseracing’s British Champions Series has created and released a headline commercial partnership package for the new premier horseracing series to which launch in May 2011. This is the first time that brands will be able to associate themselves with the best of British flat racing through one partnership.

Full naming rights are now available for British Champions Series, as well as exclusive marketing and sponsorship rights to both the historic Guineas Festival at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile, which launches the Series on 30 April 2011 and the major new finale to the British flat season at Ascot: British Champions Day on 15 October 2011.

With a total prize money pot of more than £13 million, British Champions Series will feature the 35 premier flat races across five champion categories, namely Sprint, Mile, Middle Distance, Long Distance and Fillies and Mares, staged at 10 leading UK racecourses.

British racing is the UK’s second most attended sport with approximately six million race goers. A report undertaken by Deloitte found that the sport contributes £3.4 billion to the British economy, directly and indirectly employing more than 100,000 people.
